Cartridges of sealant fit into the barrel of these manual caulk guns. The guns press their plunger against the end of the cartridge and squeeze sealant through the cartridge nozzle. They require less frequent cleaning than bulk or sausage pack guns because the cartridge minimizes contact between the sealant and the gun.
